It didn't take long before people noticed Justin Herbert was the real deal. He set NFL marks in his rookie season and has outplayed every young QB since entering the league, even if he hasn't made the Super Bowl like Joe Burrow.

A gifted athlete who can also make plays with his legs, Herbert has become a beacon of hope for an ever-struggling franchise like the Los Angeles Chargers, and he's just been around for two seasons.

Herbert has been so impressive that even NFL veterans can't help to tip their hats off to him. That was the case with Ryan Harris, who recently said on "The D.A. Show" that he's the best QB he's ever seen:

"Well, the AFC West, I think is really going to be led by the Los Angeles Chargers," Harris said. "I mean, Justin Herbert is the best quarterback I've ever seen -- and I played with Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger. This guy is unbelievable."

Needless to say, that's the ultimate praise coming from a guy who played with two of the greatest QB of all time in Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger:

"I played with Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger and I'm telling you, Justin Herbert is the best quarterback I've ever seen," Harris said. "It's unbelievable what he does. It is something that's only going to continue to increase and he's got the most talented arm in the NFL."

His Teammates Are Also Impressed

Herbert's talents are only topped by his work ethic. Recently, WR Keenan Allen compared him to Philip Rivers and how Hertber is always trying to get extra reps and get better every single day:

“Philip never stayed after practice to throw the ball," Allen said. "Philip put in the work, but this guy is out here like an hour-and-a-half after, just throwing the same route over and over and over. If there is not a spiral, he’ll just keep throwing the same one.”

The Chargers made plenty of moves and should be one of the top teams in the AFC this season. However, Herbert seemed unfazed when asked about the pressure to deliver:

“There is no pressure on us,” Herbert said. “The only pressure that you make is what you put on yourself.”

Herbert is here to stay and he'll be great for years to come. So, jump on board if you're not sold yet. He'll make you believe.
